Teva’s Philosophy: “Less Plastic, More Freedom”

Continuing with our contribution to information and practices for a more sustainable world, we present Teva’s case as an environmentally successful way of using plastics.

In 2020, Teva fully transitioned from its iconic straps to verifiable and traceable recycled plastic using REPREVE yarn. Since then, they have diverted 24 million plastic bottles from landfills and put them to better use, tying sandals around the world.

Dedicated to turning the waste that pollutes the planet into something that helps explore it, Teva looks for sustainable material alternatives that would significantly reduce their environmental footprint today and would provide the freedom to explore the great outdoors tomorrow.
