Oris ProDiver GMT, strength and style for the biggest challenges

Oris worked with professional divers to develop the original ProDiver. Learnings from that watch have informed every model since, including this GMT model. The watch’s distinguishing feature remains its Rotation Safety System bezel, or RSS. This Oris-patented locking system was devised to give divers the assurance that the bezel hasn’t been inadvertently moved during a dive. It’s operated by lifting the bezel, turning it so that the minute scale on the scratch-resistant black ceramic bezel insert aligns with the minute hand, and then pushing it back into place. It locks with a solid, reassuring click to confirm it’s set. This pioneering innovation is typical of Oris’s inventive spirit and has made the ProDiver one of the most respected watches in the professional diving community. The GMT model features a 24-hour second time zone, indicated by a central pointer hand, a lightweight 49mm titanium case, and a Swiss Made mechanical movement.
